Questions:
During the installation of EVE, the setup program says it couldn't access a certain file - why?
If you have any programs open which are using files EVE may need to update, it will not be able to access these files. Your best bet is to reboot your system, then install EVE before opening any other programs.
During the installation of EVE, the setup program gives me an error that it can't read from a file in the windows temp directory.
If you see a message like the picture above, you need to download the newest version of EVE. A bug in Windows causes the above error in some sytems with the previous version of our install. In order to avoid this bug, we've changed our installtion software.
Q. I give EVE a few lines from an essay and it almost instantly returns that it couldn't find plagiarism. How much material do I have to give to EVE?
A.EVE requires about a paragraph to work with. Sometimes it takes a little less depending upon the material, but for maximum effeciteveness, you really should give EVE the full essay.
You spelt defence wrong! It should be Defense...
The word defense is simply the American spelling of the word Defence. We are a Canadian company, and therefore use the Canadian spelling.
